As part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture aims to restore and maintain one's health. It is a very effective method of treatment for a large variety of medical conditions, symptoms and syndromes. The Acupuncturist inserts very fine sterilized, stainless steel needles into specific points along the meridian lines to promote the body's ability to heal itself by restoring the balance to the flow of "qi" (vital energy).




The Acupuncturist


Dr. Nicole Bend is a Licensed Acupuncturist, registered with Alberta Health and Wellness, a member of Alberta Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctors, and a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada Association.

Nicole graduated from the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 2003 where she received her degrees in both Acupuncture and TCM.
